The food and drinks are great as well as the atmosphere. Birthdays are fun! They come out with the big sparkling candles with an astronaut and dance. It was definitely a fun night. I look forward to going back. Oh, and don't forget to order their guacamole and chips! You're welcome

Came on a Tuesday… for the live band. Enjoyed the music and the bar has a nice and classy decor. Ordered tacos since they were on special for Taco Tuesday and later the tropical ceviche. I have to say the food was pretty good and if there’s two things I’m picky about it is tacos and ceviche so I was skeptical to try at a bar but I gave it a try. I have to say I really enjoyed both. Also the ceviche had a nice presentation to it. I would come back and I would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a night out with drinks and music.

Great food, good vibe and great drink selection. Ownership is top notch. Little classier than most other spots around the area. Not sure why others complained but we got great service. Maybe it was still too new and they were working out the kinks. Anywho, this place is definitely my go to in Bakersfield. Oh yeah the rib eye was tasty and juicy and came with your choice of sauces.

First of all, 10/10 for having unique cocktails + a variety of mocktails at a reasonable price. Coming from Los Angeles, most businesses out there will deny your request to create mocktail versions of their custom cocktails. I was beyond excited to hear they offered some non-alcoholic versions from their custom drink menu here. I hope they continue offering this to the community - it was honestly a pleasant surprise! Alright, let's continue... We came by on a Friday night to check out this new IG spot. This place has a fun theme, with the moon and crystals + mirrors alongside the hall. The teal velvet and mood lighting go well with the space vibes too. They dimmed the lights a little more as the night went on. The music switched up quite a bit, and I liked that they played The Marias at one point as well as some reggaetone + deep house. The restaurant also had a very eclectic and diverse group of customers. We tried quite a few of their drinks and each one was tasty! I only had some of their mocktails, but my family also enjoyed all their adult beverages. The flavors were interesting, and we could really taste the different ingredients listed. The bartenders or mixologists, whichever title you prefer, did an amazing job here. I'm not sure who they were because we were sitting at a table, but each drink was consistent and distinctive so shout out to y'all for that! The service was quick and our server did a great job. He was friendly and helpful. As for the food, we only tried the chips + guacamole, but the pickled onions on top were a nice addition to the dish. Overall, we loved On the Rocks and will return to try more food and drinks. Thank you for the fire service, drinks and atmosphere. Oh and Cheers to Leonardo DiCaprio. I highly recommend!

Celebrated my 22nd birthday there and it was so much fun and memorable! Everything was great! The food, drinks and service. Our server was Lupe and she was so sweet and attended us so well. We will definitely be coming back!

This was our first visit. We loved the atmosphere. My wife loved her drink and our food was great and affordable. Our server was very friendly. Will definitely come in again.

Very friendly staff, the DJ had couples dancing, and the drinks were very well made. My wife had an espresso martini (on the menu) I had an Old Fashioned (not on the menu), Bravo to the bartender! Our only regret was eating before we came here... would have loved to try something from the kitchen.
